New Vision, in partnership with American Corner Tirana, has brought for the second year in a row the program called ‘Entrepreneur for a Day’. Its main goal is to teach participants how to start and maintain a business and, most importantly, make it as successful as possible.
For ten months, 28 young people (18-25 years old) will engage in an intensive entrepreneurship program. This entrepreneurship training will give young people the ability to recognize business opportunities, the self-esteem, knowledge and skills to act on them. It includes guidance on recognizing opportunities, marketing a concept, managing resources and starting a business venture. It also offers education in traditional business disciplines such as management, marketing, information systems and finance.
Entrepreneurs, or the movement towards self-employment, is and will continue to become an increasingly important element of economic growth and development, therefore, it is essential to have the necessary infrastructure to facilitate an entrepreneurial mindset and encourage self-employment.
Everything they will learn will be practiced in everyday life. Then they will have a proper perspective on entrepreneurship and how it works, and even find out for themselves if this form of entrepreneurship is for them and if they will be successful in the future.
The culture of creating a new venture is a critical aspect of this infrastructure, as it will encourage students to take the risk of starting a business. The purpose of this program is to design and present an entrepreneurial mindset for these young people.
