New Vision concluded the summer with the ‘Soft Skills Academy’, the second summer camp for this year. During this weekend, a group of young people participated in training sessions aimed at training young people in issues such as: critical thinking, leadership, communication, public speaking and decision-making, all within the so-called ‘skills’. soft’.
Close to nature and with a lot of curiosity, young people became part of educational and interactive exercises and at the same time they were presented with very necessary concepts for their individual and interpersonal development. On the first day, topics such as critical thinking and creativity were addressed through interactive exercises, group discussions, and at the same time very necessary concepts were presented for their development in an individual and interpersonal aspect.
Through various games and tasks, participants got to know each other and gained a deeper understanding of what it’s like to work as a team in tasks that require cooperation, quick thinking and communication. The second day of the Soft Skills Academy covered the topic ‘Leadership and Public Speaking’ by New Vision and ‘Decision Making and Problem Solving’ by Mr. Florim Rexhepi.
Through discussions, situations and educational exercises the young people tried to create a new approach to decision-making and the methods they could follow to solve a problem. In this way, the young people brought out their creativity and analytical skills. Non-formal education and youth empowerment are some of the pillars of New Vision’s activities and again this year these points were successfully realized!
