This project aims to bring together young girls, women and youth aged 14-18 years in an Academy which will be held near the American Corner for 7 months in order to improve their skills, build capacity in the field of startups and be helped by mentors to come up with a business plan that has a social impact in their community.
In practical terms, this project aims to create, coordinate and network 30 young people, especially girls who will be trained, mentored and later assisted with the help of experts in the field. Through the sessions that will take place, it will provide women and young entrepreneurs access on a regular basis to awareness campaigns, training activities, support and exchange of best practices of startups and entrepreneurship in Albania.
- Creation of national communities of practice for women and young people based on new developments and the need of startups in Albania;
- Training young women to become entrepreneurs in applicable standards in their fields;
- Facilitating the exchange of best practices;
- Increasing the synergy between young people with a business idea, entrepreneurs and mentors to facilitate a more accessible network for young people in order to increase their chances by putting to the knowledge of the knowledge gained during this Academy.
