New Vision successfully launched the first edition of the Personal Finance Academy, a program designed to help young professionals strengthen their knowledge in financial management and take concrete steps toward long-term financial independence. The Academy was open to motivated individuals from NGOs, trade unions, media, businesses, universities, and the public sector at both central and local levels.

At the end of the cycle, participants were awarded a Certificate of Completion, recognizing their active involvement and progress. Importantly, the program was offered free of charge, ensuring accessibility for all interested applicants.

With the central theme “Personal Finance Management”, the Academy introduced ten interactive modules covering key topics such as interest rates, the time value of money, borrowing, saving and investing, retirement planning, inflation, taxation, risk and insurance, and consumer decision-making. The program concluded with a knowledge competition where participants put their learning into practice. Each participant attended at least seven modules, chosen according to their interests and availability.
Through this initiative, New Vision has taken an important step in empowering young professionals with practical tools for financial literacy, contributing not only to their personal growth but also to wider social and economic resilience.
